Exporting Issue

Hey guys, I need some help.

Trying to export a 30 minute video from FCP for the web. I want to host it on Vimeo which offers 500mb a week for the basic account (what I want). I exported it normally as a H.264 and it comes to 1.2 gigs (too large).

I have compressor of course.

I need to export it/compress the file I already have so it can be under 500 mb and maintain good quality.

Suggestions?
 
I like file/export/qt conversion... INTERNET/LAN

Adjust for size accordingly in OPTIONS. Comes in about 10 megs a minute which should get you under your mark.

You can get much better than "Okay-ish" quality with compression. Frame size is also a big factor in how much you want to compress. 24fps also helps.

Do what I suggested and see if you like it. I DO. I mean... we're talking WEB here... not 90 foot screen!
