hello
I have a 6 1/2 minute HD sequence in FCP 5.1 shot on a JVC HD 100 I am exporting to compressor to bring me to DVD sp4 as a DVD.
Here is my settings
video shot 720p 30
FCP sequence using apple intermediate codec 720p30
export to compressor using DVD best quality 16: 9 90minutes
Input to DVD st4 , the resulting burn is alright but the contrast is a bit weaker than the original timeline.
Also I am having great problems for my drive to burn, says that there is no disc , but I have managed to save to Hard drive and then make a disc copy of that.
Sorry for this long drawn out post, I am wondering if this is the best route to go from HD to DVD, I spoke to a Apple tech , who said that I cannot do the direct to Compressor that I have to down size to SD, ! this seems to be slightly strange .
