Need some help with an FCP conundrum.
Importing from a 5D converting to ProRes, but ned to output XDCAM HD422 50Mbps. When exporting EXPORT>SONY XDCAM all the other XDCAM codecs are there, but there is no option for the HD422 codec.
If I change the timeline settings to HD422 and then export with current settings it does work...after rendering.
Anyone got any ideas? I am assuming it's neater to do an color correction etc in ProRes and then export (eve though it will still need to render)...or is it no different simply changing the sequence settings after all correction has been done and then exporting as current?
