Exporting from FCP-Out of Sync Quicktime

I'm working on a project with 30 camera rolls. A few of the camera rolls, that are digitized, when exported to quicktime go out of sync by about 7 frames. This is consistent through out export, maintaining a 7 frame or so out of sync rate. Has anyone ever had such a problem. The reels in question play fine in FCP and in the sequences. I've tried various different bit rates and tried different settings on the export but to no avail. Any help much appreciated, pressure project.

Assuming you shot in HDV not DV try this. Create a DVCPro HD 1080i60 sequence, copy & paste your HDV seq into it then use the DVCPro sequence as the source of your export.

yep that did it. all these variables when you're relatively new at HD compressions. I don't know how you did that, thanks very much!
If you're ever up north, frisco way, I'll take you out for a drink for helping me out of this jam.

I ran into a similar problem at work when we started using HDV heavily about 18 months ago. I think it went away though when we switched to FCP 6. Out of curiosity, are you using FCP 5 or 6?

I'm using Final Cut 6. I spoke with the camera man and he thought it was because the settings on his camera might've been at 30p for those 3 reels Is this possible? I didn't think it has anything to do with FCP but was camera borne anomaly.
Best regards
