Exporting from FCP (MAC) to PC

I am going to do some VFX work for a man who has a Mac running FCP. I myself will be running on a PC using AE. What way can he export it so that I will be able to play the video back on my PC in AE? I had a whole lot of trouble with PC/Mac codec compatibility on my last cross platform project, so knowing this info will be immensely helpful.

I need the video to retain it's origonal quality, and file size isn't an issue. Oh, and it will be in HD...shot on the Canon A1.

Thanks!

I work with MAC to PC movie files all the time and have found the working with uncompressed quicktimes seems to be the trick. As long as you have Quicktime installed on your PC with it's appropriate components and what not, you should have no problem working his MAC uncompressed quicktimes. File extension should be (.mov). File size will be Extremely large depending on how long each piece is. I some situations, using Apple's "Animation" compression codec would work as well, but it's best to stay away from that because I've also seem it foul up on people. Same steps some be considered when you save out for him. .AVI is one of the worst files to work with on a MAC. MACs are slightly more flexible dealing with videos then PCs.
