Exporting From AE Size Problem

I'm really new to AE and I'm not the best at wrapping my head around settings and such.
So I'm exporting video from AE and bringing it into Sony Vegas but I get little black bars on the top an bottom. You can see an example here
I'm exporting the footage as an .avi and then I select settings/ compression type DV/ DVCPRO - NTSC and then under compressor I drag the quality slider to best.

Is this the best way to export video?

That's all I'm doing and I have a feeling that I'm just missing a step somewhere.

Cool thanks. So I rendered with that but I still have the bars at the top and bottom just like before.
Here's my render settings:

So why would I be getting bars?

AE works with square pixels and video has a .9 pixel aspect ratio

it looks like a .9 PAR footage that thinks its square pixels

So I'm poking around trying to figure out how to tell AE that I have .9 pixel aspect ratio. I'm really new to AE so could someone kindly point to how to do this?

Glad you figured it out....

Additional info... in AE, if your source file is 0.9 PAR or 1.2 PAR, you can right-click (ctrl-click) on the footage after it's imported into your project and do "interpret footage" to force AE to those settings.
