Exporting for editing - Need some guidance

I've tried probably 50 different exports trying to find an option that loses minimal quality and isn't 1 gig a sec file size.

Is there a way or a codec of some kind that can export from after effects so I can edit it in an editor like vegas/fcp etc?

My current workflow uses AE's pulldown remover and I'd really like to be able to keep using it.

I'm sure there is a simple solution but I've been reading and experimenting since yesterday and can't seem to get a grasp on this.

If you want to compress with minimal loss you could try Quicktime with Photo Jpeg at 100% as compression.

That seems to work pretty good but I was wondering am I losing the interlaced footage by doing that?

Also, I'm using an hv20 and it outputs stuff in the hdv format and it's pretty easy for vegas to just play this straight through with no trouble but when I play these files vegas starts to bog down and it's hard to work with. Guess I was thinking there was a way to export the AE work that would give me the same flexibility as I had with the initial captured hdv format.
