Exporting footage from FCP to AE...

hey, im quite inexperienced with importing and exporting video footage into AE, and im just wondering what settings you would use to export from FCP into AE in full quaility, i have tried alot of different settings but when i have rendered the clips back out of AE and then into FCP it is never the full quality that it started as...

Hmm where to start with this one. first, in FCP, export with the top quicktime option. bring that into AE. When getting the footy out of AE, NEVER use the export option! Render it! I don't have my mac in front of me now but I believe it's "composition > send to render que" or something like that. Open the redner que and choose your "destination" and go run some errands or take a nap, lol, it takes a while to render out your footage.

Overall, this is the absoulte best way to go from AE to FCP in a lossless state.
