exporting FCP still frame, very jaggy and pixelly?

All of a sudden my still frame exports are poor quality. It's as though they are standard def jpegs blown up slightly.

any ideas?
 
Sounds like you're exporting with 'current settings' and your playback resolution is set to half or quarter.

On another note: What's the context of exporting those stills? Are you putting back into the edit, or is this to distribute to people?
