Exporting EDLs

Has anyone exported an EDL to bring the edit into avid? I tried the other direction recently with all modes and nothing worked. Does anyone have any experience with EDLs at all?
I don't have FCP so I can't test from here.
 
Try CMX-3600...that is the standard for this ANCIENT form of data exchange. But know that this will not reflect any filters you have, and speed changes will be totally wrong as well. This isn't a reliable way to do this....which is why Automatic Duck Pro Export was created: www.automaticduck.com.

This software exports an EDL that is pretty good. Speed changes still have issues, so bear that in mind.
 
What blows is that I need to port over a feature thats been half edited on a Mac to an Avid but I would have to buy it for the Mac which isn't my computer.
