Encoding HD video for the best results. What exporter on Edius should i use and what should i encode the video as. Please excuse me, i am pretty new to the editing thing.

Sorry but we still would like for information.
Do you intend to make a BlluRay disc, SD DVD, export an HD file for web, or on mobile devices?
You have choices of other codecs and settings within each exporter, such as bitrate choices.
I use the DV Stream exporter for SD.
I use MPEG2 Exporter for Blu-Ray, but you have to pick your bitrate.
The web host I work with wants H.264 but others might have another preference. Again you have bitrate choices.
