I'm trying to export an EDL so I can use it in Final Cut but I'm having a little problem. The "Save As..." EDL is a text file. But there's also an "EXPORT EDL" option under scripting which exports a .EDL file. Which should I use? I know they're both text files but the .EDL text (at least whatever I got to export) is different when I open it up.
So...
1. Which EDL export option should I use?
a) Save As...
b) The one under SCRIPTING
2. When I use the one under "scripting," I get an error that says, "Error: Object required." Not sure what this means.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
