Exporting a 720p MPEG-2 at 59.94 fps

Hey everyone,

So I'm mostly a Final Cut User but I've been bogged down by exporting so I'm trying to see if Media Encoder would be a better option for exporting files. I work on 30 minute infomercials and a lot of the stations we work with broadcast at 720p at 59.94fps and accept MPEG-2. In FCP and Compressor there's an option to export that kind of file from a 29.97 source but there doesn't seem to be an option in Media Encoder. Is there a setting I can download or an option I've missed to allow me to export 720p60 from a 1080p30 source?

Can't you copy one of the other presets and edit the frame rate?

No, the highest framerate it'll allow is 50. NTSC is checked so I don't even know why 25 and 50fps are an option.

Choose the MXF OP1a as the Format.

Under the Video Codec, choose XDCAMHD 50 NTSC 720p (4:2:2)

Is this the same as MPEG-2 though? I'm not too familiar with MXF format.

MXF is just a container. The video codec used in XDCAMHD, which is MPEG2.
