I am having a problem with aspect ratio when it comes to exporting a 720p24 timeline to a scaled down mov for web use.
When outputting via compressor, i can either tell it to maintain the aspect of 16x9 or not, regardless of what I set the actual dimensions of the file.
The problem is, when I force 16x9, i get a "correct" looking result (circles are circular on screen) BUT any onscreen text appears slightly squeezed vertically. Its hard to explain, but when I tested making a timeline with two layers of text and spaced them so they were ALMOST touching eachother vertically, the resulting file is a 16x9 with overlapping text.
If i do not select 16x9 and use the current aspect ratio (960x720) i no longer get a 16x9 product (and circles appear squeezed) while the text spacing is fine.
What am I doing wrong?
