Exporting 720 x 380

Hey guys. I shot some SQUEEZE footage on my DVX. Brought it into an anamorphic sequence in final cut. But i changed the sequence settings to 720 x 380 so i can fake that nice widescreen look. When i export, i go to size, then custom, and type in 720 x 380. When its done, it doesnt look like it does in final cut. It says its 720 x 380, but its not wide/anamorphic. Is this because i changed the sequence settings?
 
Anamorphic is actually 480 tall and 853 wide.

Why would you change sequence settings? Why not use an ANAMORPHIC sequence?

Change it back to 720x480 and check the anamorphic button.

This will also make your video look REALLY weird. Don't panic. Simply select all the clips in the timeline and Right-CLICK or control-click and find REMOVE ATTRIBUTES... from there, make sure ONLY the DISTORT button is checked.
