I've got a 24P timeline in FCP that was shot in Squeeze mode. The final viewing format will be a widescreen plasma TV, playing a DVD authored in iDVD. I feel pretty comfortable with my workflow, yet one thing I'm not sure of:
When exporting my sequence to QuickTime from FCP, there are the following options:
NTSC DV Anamorphic, or NTSC DV 24, but no option for both. I chose to export in Anamorphic, thinking that I can't garantee the DVD player will play 24P. So, I'm assuming the Quicktime I'm exporting will be in Anamorphic format at 29.97? This I will burn in iDVD, making sure it's set to 16 x 9, and I should be good for viewing on the widescreen plasmas, right?
I'm being paranoid because the first time this will be seen is tomorrow and I don't have much opportunity to run tests.
Any input will be most appreciated.
