Exporting 24pa for DVD

Hi all,

So I've got a project that is 24pa (pulldown removed so it's 23.97 [.98?]), whatever.

Before I asked, I read the archives. I have tried sending a super short test clip to compressor and using MPEG-2 @ 6.2mbps, 2-pass and I get terrible results.

Anyway, I'm using Final Cut Studio 2, what's the best way to export this for a DVD? What's going wrong?

------

First pic is blown up still from the MPEG-2 that gets generated. Totally blurry with splotches popping up everywhere. Moving video makes it look even worse.

Second pic is still from FCP window before anything.

--------

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!!!

What? So your using FCP to edit your footage. okay. now, what camera did you shot on and, you know what. Give me the details of the codec of your footage and your sequence. Also, what camera did you shot on and with what Media transfer (DV tape, P2 cards, Firestore, etc..)

Cheers,

Murray
