Export with same settings as sequence

I have a bunch of SD clips that are already compressed for Vimeo but need to edit the SD clips down and string them together then upload to Vimeo. I haven’t done this before and want to make sure I don’t re-compress the already SD Vimeo ready clips. Whats the best practice for this?
Does Match Sequence Settings in encoder not re-compress?

You cannot get the media out of PP without recompressing.
