Export Video to Image Sequence

So I want to take a 10 second clip and export it to individual pictures for each frames. Any easy way to do this through Vegas or AE?
 
Ok, so just figured it out....

1. Select clip to work with
2. Export to single Vid (easier to work with)
3. Take into After Effects and export to PNG

DONE
 
Ok. So I imported the video to AE and put a white layer on top of it. I want to paint each frame on top of the background video, but it won't let me use the paintbrush on the "white solid" layer... What am I missing?
 
Are you trying to paint into the comp window? You need to double click on the solid layer you created, which creates a new viewer for that layer and then you can paint on it.
