Export to WMV problem

I'm not sure if this is a Premiere issue or a Windows Media Player issue, but let's see what you think.

I export to Advanced Windows Media and then play the clip in Windows Media Player. Every time there's a cross dissolve transition, it's very jerky. By that I mean, there's a strange flash in the transition -- it doesn't play smoothly.

It doesn't seem to matter how I configure the export. And I've tweaked the playback setting in Media Player every way I can find. Anybody have ideas for something that might fix this problem?

Also, this occurs on different versions of Media Player on different PC's.

Thanks!

Exporting to anything from Preimere pretty much sucks, I think. You might try exporting an uncompressed AVI, then using the Microsoft standalone encoder (which you can get for free on their website). In the past, that has helped me encode better WMVs than Premiere's options.
