OK, so here's what I've found:
So some of you (myself included) want to keep Firmware 1.5 for the homebrew options.
You can do this AND play video.

DevHook will emulate later firmwares that support AVS/mp4 playback, so you can just load DevHOOK (automatic installer available) and emulate anything after 2.0.
Vegas 6.0 you can export to PSP and it will automatically put it in the proper place.
