I am new to Edius and trying to export a project, I keep getting 0x80070057 The parameter is incorrect. The project is a 23.98 frames. Any hints? Thanks

MPEG Elementary. I simply need to output 1920x1080/23.97P, is this the right format if so why is the error, do you recommend a different setting. I am going to be taking the final final into Adobe Encore to produce a DVD. Thanks

wrong preset for that. For DVD output you can do either;
1. work on an SD timeline compatible for dvd ; you need 59.94i(dvd) preset. either 4:3 or 16:9 you can even use edius to burn straight to dvd with this.

2. if you want an HD master or use a HD timeline, you will need to export your HD work first using HQ codec avi.-this will be your master, then in my case I use Procoder to convert this AVI to either program stream or elementary for dvd authoring.

Ted yes it's an HD timeline that I need to master on dual layer DVD as I don't have blue ray. Edius will only allow me to output to Blue Ray drive since it's HD, otherwise I would have burned to DVD. Adobe Encore will allow me to burn an HD project to DVD. I wish I could at least encode an mpeg without this error in Edius. But if I have to I am going to do the Canopus AVI file and take it into Adobe Premiere and Encode it to an MPEG.

If you only need to 'archive' your HD master, then just export to HQ, which is the best quality you can do out of edius, then burn that to DL-DVD as data.
I havent really thought of investing in bluray as theres no demand for it YET in corporate work and advertising that I do. It could be different in your work.

The HD material I do either gets projected in cinema digitally which requires a proprietary format for servers and also sometimes its played digitally from PC to DLP projector using WMV HD format.

I am trying to export my HD timeline to Disc, however I get a 9 minute sequence instead of my 95 minutes timeline, do you know why it's doing that?
