ok some im running xp64 and premiere isnt recognizing my dvd burner has there been any patches or fixes for this yet, x64 is the only possible reason why this isnt being recognized this i know for sure
 
i have a pioneer single layer, dual format 8x burner nothing special.....i mean i believe i understand what your trying to ask....as in maybe its a driver issue but i trully believe this to be an x64 issue with premier 1.5
 
again as stated this is not a noob question i understand that premier recognizes this burner this is an issue of the fact that i am running windows xp64 professional
 
Do you have DVD burning software that currently works with your configuration? I am not sure of the x64 status of such applications as Roxio/Nero or one of the DVD Authoring applications.
 
yes the latest version of nero works with my burner.....previous version do not...ive also tried other shity video editing software...i dont have a copy of encore at the moment...but its in the works....but im thinking i might have the same issue...is anyone else running a x64 system with premier....if so how do you get around this issue?????? thanks for the replys
 
check with company who made your burner, and see if it is compatible...also look for a firmware update...

x64xp isnt fully supported by all hardware yet....

if it worked fine befor then the only thing you can do is wait or buy another
