Thank you for taking the time to look at my post. I have done searches for the following questions but I was hoping someone can take the time to go a little more in depth.
Anyway....
1.) I try to export my 1h 50m movie to dvd through PP. I do have a dual layer burner. About half way through the burn, an error stops the burn process which says, "could not complete last command: unknown error."
I don't understand why it does that. Do I need a dual layer DVD? Do I need more space? What could be the problem?
2.) I have read by some people that hasseling with PP dvd exporting is not worth it and not to try it. I've read it's better to export the timeline as a movie (which file extension? .avi .mov .mpeg? how?) and then to burn it to a dvd through roxio or some sort of software.
The problem I face with that is when I go to export my timeline as a whole or file, half way through I get an error reading as well. (i forget what it says, and im afraid to try it again because everytime i do, gigs of space are taken up on the HD even with the error popping up). What could be the problem there? How much space is needed to be free on the HD in order to export the timeline as a movie?
Thank you for any help you can offer and I'd be happy to give specs if needed. Thanks
Mark
