Export Titles for Premiere

I am pretty new to after effects and I am wondering how I can export titles with an transparent background for use in premiere. I have done it in the past by putting an green background behind the title and keying it out in premiere but I always loose a little bit of the title by doing it that way. Is there a way to properly transfer into premiere?

I am use AE and PPro cs4.

Export in a format that supports alpha channel. You have to enable this in the render settings dialog as well (RGB+alpha)

Eg. animation codec in mov, png image sequence, png in mov, huffyuv+alpha

Ok so I have gone through all of the export settings and I don't see anything about alpha. How can I add or enable an apha channel?

Assuming your comp has transparency already , when you add to render queue, the output module will say "lossless". Click on the hot text and it will bring up output module settings dialog box. Under video output, channels, it normally says "RGB", use the drop down box to select RGB+alpha

Under the format options, if you used "quicktime movie", when you push format options, select "animation"
