What are the optimus Export setting to save my master or finale Quicktime movie? So I dont loose any quality.
I work with a canon gl1 camera, and FCP 5.0. usually to be displayed on TV and DVDs. Thanks.
Are you using effects/transitions/titles? If so I found that switching the sequence settings to Photo-JPG at 75% quality on the final sequence and exporting everything as a quicktime movie (not conversion) brings the best quality with small file size. You could off course choose uncompressed instead of Photo-JPG but I never noticed a difference when working with DV material. Applying a chroma smoothing filter might be a good idea as well.
