Export problem

I've searched everywhere except the one place that answers this question. How do I export a clip of my movie to use in photoshop? Do I have to render the clip in a certain format, or is there something else I need to do?

Someone said to export it as a .png file, but how do I do that?

In the Tools | Scripting menu there is a "Render image sequence"

That's the one you want.

that worked, but after I edit all the pics (668 to be exact), how do I get them back in Vegas? Every tutorial I see deals with Premiere. I NEED HELP!!!!

Hopefully, you didn't change the filenames, so they're all still sequential...

Go to File | Import | Media

Select the first image in the sequence, check the box down at the bottom that says "Open still image sequence"

The 'range' boxes should show the first and last number in the sequence.

Click Open, then give it a "Tape Name" in the next dialog. Click OK, or whatever it says.

The sequence will appear in your Media pool.
