ok...so, exporting hd and having trouble, all my footage is from a hvx202 and a 5d mkii and there both dvcpro footage at 1080, but no matter what export setting i use, the footage is choppy and isnt the best quality... any one have a solution for me? it even happened sometimes when i used to export in pal, but on a far less degree

haha yeah i spent all day yesterday trying, read this already, as of no help, there must be something somewhere that has a wrong setting and is seriously being a pain in the but... i export of other computers and everything is perfect....i export of mine... (being an i7 with all the awesome stuff* and it refuses to work properly... it jumps frames looks horrid...

ok so i export it out as a h264 ntsc dv high quality, and its perfect..which is strange since its pal hd footage....

Are you using Quicktime Player to view your h.264? Quicktime player is notoriously slow on Windows.

If you're running Windows 7, h.264 playback is native in Windows Media player. You can also Try Media Player classic Home Cinema and VLC.

yeah im using windows 7 , i was also using windows media player, just downloaded vlc because that will probably work a lot better, though all my clients will most likely be using windows media player...so if it doesnt work on that on my computer...no chance it will work on theirs!

If your clients are using windows, you should export Windows Media files since you can guarantee 100% compatibility with PCs running Windows 2000 and later.

If they are requesting h.264 files, try to convince them they want Windows Media if they are in a windows based environment.

H.264 is better quality, but at the end of the day it means nothing if your clients cant watch the deliverable.
