export for web but crop at safelines?

So I want to export some footage for the web, and when shooting it, the lcd showed the viewing area (inside the safelines). Now seeing the whole frame in FCP, there is a mic in the frame edge. This would disappear if I output it to a dvd and watched on a tv, but as web export is full frame, you can see the mic. How can I manually crop the frame to a normal tv viewing area before I output to web?

export a full size quicktime, create a mask in photoshop that will cover outside of the safe area, open with quicktime pro, go window>show movie properties, click on the video track then on the left there will be a box that says mask, choose your mask, and then export that quicktime out with your web settings and it will automatically crop for you
