I'm shooting a project with an EX3 and editing on CS4. I shot some test footage and it looks great on CS4. I did export media tests to all formats including Uncompressed Quicktime, but Uncompressed Microsoft AVI seemed to be the closest to the original footage and plays back uncompressed. Quicktime usually takes more time to load before playing back smoothly.
The project will be played at a convention product launching. It will probably be projected and I won't have control over the projection equipment, but can point my client in the right direction for a player if they are willing to fork over the cash. What is the best quality playback file and player I can provide to cover my ass? (I am on a limited budget but want it to look great)
