Export FCP audio to iTunes

I've got a bunch of interview footage and would like to move the audio over to my iPod so I can listen while on the road to determine best sections. This may have been posted but I have not found "the simple answer" - my question: what are the steps to move audio files out of FCP and into iTunes?
 
This question is probably better asked in the FCP section. I'm guessing you would export and choose an audio flle format. You could send it to STP and export from there.
