Export clean file

Hey all --

This may be a silly question... but here we go...

I need to export a .mov file of a few shots for CG work... obviously, this isn't the #1 best way to preserve resolution and clarity... but are there any settings I should be aware of to create the best output possible?

Basically, I want a 1:1 output, with no compression... the CG artist will work on the shot I send him, then send it back to me, and I'll plug it back into the project (again, I know I'm losing a generation here).

But if anyone could steer me to the best output settings for my situation, that would be great!

Oh... I shot 720pN with the HVX200... editing in CS3.

ADDED:

Forgot to mention... I tried exporting an Uncompressed AVI... but I can't view it with windows media player. I output a QT and a MPEG2 Blu-Ray file, and they both look pretty good, but the files are so small (like 5mb... the clip is only a second or two of footage... but that's still pretty tiny) that I don't trust it.

I'm certainly no pro, but it is my understanding that Quicktime is the best way to do what you're talking about. I've heard recommended elsewhere, to export stuff in Quicktime with the "Photo JPG" setting, for maximum quality. But I'd be interested to hear what someone who definitely knows, says.

I have been told that the above mentioned format is "lossless",.. but I am totally ignorant as to how much (if any) degradation will occur each time you re-export. Any one else know for sure?

You can export a .mov uncompressed. or an avi uncompressed or tga /tiff sequence files. All
these these would be considered intermediates.

There is no generation loss in digital if you do not re compress. If the CG guy cant open mxfs...these are your only way.
