Export Cinema 4d in version 5 format

I was interested in importing some c4d models into the zaxwerks plugin in after effects. Zaxwerks requires version 5 format of the c4d models, and i currently have version 9.5. After several attempts, I'm still stuck and cannot figure out how to export c4d files in a version 5 format. Any help is greatly appreciated.

No idea. The cd4 Help files are BRUTAL.
Actually it sounds like a zaxwerks problem. Ask them how to import cd4 9.5 models. Get with the times type of thing. Updates?
 
Yeah its not a big deal, I was just messing around with some 3d stuff and was just interested to see how that plugin works. I was able to export some models in .3ds format from c4d and that seemed to worked. But some of the models where whacked after they were imported into zaxwerks. I never really had high hopes for this particular plugin, but its good to get some really basic stuff in.
