Export 720p project Need help asap!

I just finished a small coporate peice. I always cut on Avid, but in this case I had to use final cut pro.

I created a new project, DVCPRO HD 720/30p.

Imported P2.

Edited a sequence.

When I exported quicktime movie, I chose DVCPRO HD/720p30.

Problem:

Image is Letterbox and then also stretched...wtf

Checked the timeline settings, it was set up for DV NTSC...um ok.

I changed the timeline to HD (960 x 720), DVCPRO HD 720p.

When I export Quicktime movie it is stretched and cropped on all 4 sides...

Does anyone have an idea about what is wrong? Again im not very avid on final cut pro : ), and never did a P2 HD project in this software yet.

Not sure what is happening to your stuff, that just sounds rather bizarre, but one thing I guess I'd recommend is to do the follow:

Go to the Easy Setup option and select DVCPro HD 720p/30. This will auto configure everything for that.

Then create a new sequence. Open the old sequence, where its outputing incorrectly, and copy all the content. Then open the new sequence you just made and paste all the content into that (don't just drag and drop the sequences into one another, nesting is not the answer here).

Now try and do an output. In the end it won't tell you want setting was giving you the problem, but if it works, well it works so...
