Hey People..
Can someone give me a run down on some good 'prosumer' boom mics?
I dont want to pick up too much background noise, just actors. Im putting in ambience etc afterwards ( I guess thats the logical idea after all lol
)
So what am I looking at then? obviously not a omni directional mic but a cardoid right?
please give me some suggestions.

Im looking at stuff made by shure, I recorded vocals with them a while ago and was really pleased with the lack of background noise. However they aint phantom powerd, perhaps a tad quiet.
Btw...try www.[B]mi7libraries[/B].com/, great for sdfx but especially good for background ambience.:thumbup::thumbup:
