Experimenting Time displacement

Hi Everybody,

Here is my first video test about this effect I saw for the first time in MUSE video clip "Unintended".
It took me a lot of time to know how it was done! I finally get it to be done with my GH1 in After effects with nice results, hope you'll like it:

Yah I remebered trying that stuff out, never got the final product that I wanted because I was working in SD and the lines were just too visable.
Did you find a eazy way to do this?
Or is it the old way of making as many layers as there are lines and then offsetting them by a frame each?
Or is it with a gradient?

Time displacement effect with gradient:
The key is not in the SD or HD, you just have to get a more than 150 i/s footage, 200 is fine, more would be perfect :)
I transformed my 50 i/s footage to a 200i/s video with Twixtor plugin, I was then able to avoid these bad stairs artefacts.
