We hear this sentence. "Expensive Uv filters are not necessary. Current cameras do not use parts those can be damaged"
But according to my researches, how ever we just buy the UV filter for our DVX for lens protection, basic uv filter may produce unwanted results?
Especially i mean reflections and flares. So a filterLESS dvx, "may" produce way better results ( flare-free, etc.. )
But if we still want to protect our lenses, we still must buy some good uv filters... Right?
For example, i was thinking about buying (hard to decide) Hoya HMC uv filter. It is really expensive, but, according to it's features, it is good for flares etc..
I am not defending anything. I opened this topic to be sure. As you understand, i do not mean that i am right. I am just asking if i am
