Hi. I recently purchased a 35mm adapter (Letus35FE to be precise) and I was wondering what to expect when choosing my lens' focal length.
I noticed that the HVX has a focal length of 28-55mm. I was doing a lot of reading on focal length conversion and all that. One thing I came across is that conversion between a 50mm lens on a 35mm format vs a 50mm lens on a 1/3" chip, but then I realized that I'm not really changing formats. I'm still staying on a 1/3" chip.
So does that mean that if I purchase a 50mm lens, the field of view will be equivalent to the view I see on the HVX's lens, which is pretty much Z99?
I just want to choose the right lenses for my collection.
Any help would be appreciated... thx.
