Hi,
I am frustrated with the output side of working with 720pn on the HVX. I'm a film student and want to be able to show my HD work in HD and not have to go to standard DVD. Is there any way to show what I've edited in FCP in a way that is not extremely compressed.
Problem #1:
Why can't we put footage back onto a P2 card and use the camera as a deck? Is there any software that can put QT files back into .MXF files to allow for this?
Problem #2:
I work on a Powerbook G4 (2g of RAM) and would consider using a QT Presentation (QT 7.2 Pro) to show my work (hooked up to a projector), but when I play a QT export of my 720p24 timeline the footage looks all jerky in the QT viewer. Its also not the exact same contrast/color values as in my FCP Viewer. Mind you, when I open that SAME export into FCP it plays perfect, but there is no way to get a full screen view (without the playback controls and time arrow) when in FCP so that won't work for presentation.
Please Help
