.exe files with a mac?

sorry probably an easy question but i just got dreamweaver/flash and some other programs and when i put the cd in my Mac the instal button is a .exe file. when i try to open .exe files on my mac they dont work and say this video wont play, how am i suppose to open this?

It won't work because it's not the Mac version.

".exe" (executable) is the extension for Windows applications.

That may be the case, but the .exe is windows only.

you can use parallels ( http://www.parallels.com/ ), but if it says its for mac and windows it should be a separate installer somewhere there.
