Excited by my new Canon C300

I've just received my new C300 and honestly I feel like a kid in a toy shop. I've been shooting since 1977, and I feel unnaturally excited by this kit.

The low light pictures are amazing and I can start thinking photographically again after many decades of familiarity of shooting on the 2/3' broadcast format. I can't wait to shoot an interview with shallow depth of field without being a rooms length away.

I'm located in Wellington, New Zealand and I hope to be able to share notes about this rig on this forum
 
Awesome camera for certain! And, given your background we'll be expecting some great work from you (did I mention I'm jealous?).

There are some good threads here on the C300, including some user developed Picture Styles.

I wish I was working enough to justify such toys! There are some amazing tools available today, aren't there?
