Just took a look at Digital Editing With Final Cut Pro 4. Looks very good, a voice of experience leading you through the process instead of lessons (Apple Pro Training) or quick reference (Visual Quickstart). All three approaches are useful in their own way, but in just a few minutes of browsing he cleared up a couple of confusing issues for me. Also comes with a DVD.
