Anybody have a $ or % figure to throw my way so I could understand better what it costs to hire a PSC to do a turn-key production (payroll, script breakdown, cinematography, crew, audio, craft services, editing, post sound editing, etc) of say a 80 minute indie horror film? Do they charge a flat rate, or a percentage of the film budget? I probably could not afford a PSC I am guessing, to say do a $50k indie horror, but when I make the leap to a $1M-$5M direct to dvd indie, what would I be looking at out of the budget for a PSC to do a turn key production and pos? (not including soundtrack composition, director's fee, talent, writer and producer fee, marketing)
