EX1 + SGBlade RR2 and CA

Been doing some test shooting with the SGBlade and the RR2 on a EX1 using a Canon EF 50mm 1.4 lens. I noticed I'm getting some nasty CA...

A cropped part of a frame:

Is it the EX1's fault? Can I adjust any settings on either the EX1 or the SGBlade to get better results?

Unfortunately this is the case with Blade and EX1. As far as I know the only adapter that copes well with EX1 CA is Letus (with their dedicated EX1 achromat).
So you'll have to either live with it or remove it in post (it's possible and the results are quite good).

flip version here. Yeah, i'm surprised, on my brevis, the flip improved CA, vignetting, and edge to edge a lot.

There definitely is some CA on the Blade that i know Wayne is working on, but the image you posted is confusing to me as it is obviously overexposed and looks out of focus. When you say its a cropped part of the frame - is the whole frame? This can be unintentionally deceptive

I have shot stuff from the EX clean that had terrible CA when the lens is at full telephoto and shooting images silouetted against a bright background. Just as bad as this pole. Likewise I have seen terrible CA or some kind of chroma bleed from the Letus Extreme + Ex looking at the overexposed windows of a garage window.
