Beach is gray market. You may or may not get a warranty, Magic Bullet for Editors, or the DVX Book/DVD. Order from Rush at EVS and you're guaranteed to get all those things.

Warranty is important. I found buydig.com to be cheapest. But Rush has an extremely admirable reputation here. He should take good care of you.

Call Rush, he has a good deal if you wire the money. I think shipping is inclucded.
I just checked with him this week. Still playing around with the numbers and seeing if I can pay off a new DVX before the HVX comes.
I'm in the market for that as well.
Even though I'm out of state now. I always liked to buy from someone who I can go see if I have a problem.
EVS are good people, that makes up for the few extra dollars you'll spend if you do.

Think about it, we buy the cameras from Panny at the 50+ price of $3250, sell them at $3397, pay a 2-2.5% Credit card fee (to VISA/MC/AMEX for the privilige of being able to process your card), count the overhead of doing the processing of the order, leaving EVS with $30-$42 profit. Somehow the customer will have to pay for the dealer's loss. Either in extra shipping/handling charges, higher warranty price, worthless accessories in package deals.... Somehow the dealer will get his money back.:angry:

Actually letting us know how much "THEY" pay for it. VERY few businesses would actually do this. It's nice to know Rush doesn't mind us knowing the "truth" behind the *Below $3200 sales*. DO NOT BUY from beach camera trust me
and if u buy from willoughby's you will get a canadian camera that won't quilify for no rebate

I've dealt with Beach and believe me--they'll screw you. I once ordered a last minute birthday present from Beach and they added an unauthorized charge on my credit card. Scum. As a kid I used to try and find the lowest price on gear and I always had problems with every dealer that advertised the lowest price. So I learned that the lowest price means *trouble*. Now I buy from reputable dealers and I'm much happier. So learn from our collective experience. Rush is a verified good guy. Just do a forum search on EVS.

Well its too late now to order from evs. i wish i would have read the replys first. I didn't know rush works at evs. i thought it was just a random banner ad. My DVX is suppose to be delivered any minute now. Well theres a lot of accessories i'll be needing and next time i'll know where to buy from.
