EVS Strikes again!

Four for Four. Batting a thousand here with my experience with Rush and EVS. My recent order consisted of:

Senn Capsule
Senn Power Mod
Senn Shock Mount
Gitzo Boom Pole
Senn Headphones
Comp XLR Cable
Rycote 18cm Softie

Rush patiently walked me through my purchasing decision while answering all of my questions (some more than once!). As usual, I was even talked down in my ambition to buy. This is not the first time EVS has talked some sense into me. What does this mean?

Instead of grubbing me for every penny I scrape, on more than one occassion Rush and the EVS crew has saved me money by listening and recognizing my 'experience level'. I know there are many companies out there that will sell their mother to 'make a sale'. This has never been the case in my experience.

The package came UPS next day (in fact less than 24 hours). That's just me guys, I'm an hour and half down the '5'.

Thanks again RUSH! As usual, talk to you soon!

Re: EVS Strikes again!

Nice new gear John. I'm sure you'll love it all! (lucky bastid ;D)

yeah EVS rox! I've only ordered tapes from there but they've been very helpful and prompt. I always got my order a day before the "actual" arrival date.

Re: EVS Strikes again!

Well Shiiiii iiiiittttttt

Let me know when you need a sound man!  ;)

It's a 12.5' carbon fiber (Yes, i gave it some thought and decided I need longer than a basketball goal!) :D

Re: EVS Strikes again!

That is the coolest boom pole, John. 12.5' carbon weighs less than a 6' aluminum... Congratulations, and I hope you enjoy your new sound package. ;D

Re: EVS Strikes again!

I am so stoked.  I unraveled my pole for my wife today and said "Look Honey!  12 Feet 5 Inches!"

What?

LoL! I read that to my gf and she nearly fell off her seat

Re: EVS Strikes again!

I had to go for the 12.5 too...just to be safe. It is a lot longer than I would have thought 12.5 would be, and it was also enjoyable for me when I showed it to my wife and it just kept on extending! I whipped it out at my moms house yesterday and it was fun watching the reactions. Her husband was genuinely into it. Such a simple yet impressive tool. Unfortunately I could only afford the aluminum, as I was maxing out the cards that day!
