Okay - so there isn't much substance to this thread other than to tell everyone here that Rush and the people at EVS are really great.
I'd heard that a million times before on here, but I hadn't had the opportunity to deal with them directly until this past week or so.

I'm putting together a pretty decent sized equipment package for a TV Station here in Austin and so I got in touch with Rush to see if he could put together a quote for me.
I was getting a lot of pressure (from the company I'm working for) to get this put together as quickly as possible - so since I was trying to move fast I kept missing stuff.
Rush had to throw numbers together and redo the quote for me about 3 times...

Yet he did it all quickly, and always seemed like he was ready to help me out.

Point is - you can't seem to go wrong with EVS.
So thanks to Rush, and thanks to all the past DVXusers who suggested that I check them out next time I needed to order some gear.

Oh heck no. Your quote was so organized with model numbers and a Shopping cart pdf from our site, it was actually fun to do. No sirree, I assure you Luis, your polite and professional emails and phone calls were not the stressors :thumbsup:

Whew - I was sincerely worried that I was too disorganized.

See, this is why Rush is so good at what he does -
not only does he help you get what you need,
he makes you feel like you might know what you're doing.

Sure I'll jump on the bandwagon to commend EVS... and Rush, for all his work here... but I also wanna give a shout-out to Tommy! He's usually the front-man in the showroom, and has provided us excellent and personalized service for years. Yay Tommy!

P.S., have you guys opened the new, larger showroom yet?
 
Tommy is 100% our frontman, in the catalog, on the auto-answer, and kicks butt all day. And yes we opened the new showroom.
 
I would like to 20th that. Rush is polite, efficient, and knowlegable. Several times he has directed me in ways that might have cost him money in a sale of some kind.

He's a community member, not a leech!
