I'm trying to build my version of the indislider using parts described in the DIY thread. To make it easy to mount, I would like to take an extra fluid head I have
(cheapie Amvona) and mount the head on the carriage. I'd like to remove the 100mm ball from the head and mount it to the rails, so I can quickly mount it to my tripod.
Problem is, I can't figure out how to remove the half ball from the fluid head.
The three allen screws come out easily. Under them are three flat head screws that only a jewelers screwdriver fits. They turn but never seem to come out.
Any idea how it is supposed to come apart?
