Coffee's list is about to grow, exponentially.
I own as much/or more audio gear as I do camera (excluding lighting). Yes, that is saying a lot.

There are indoor mics, outdoor mics, wireless mics, clip-on mics, short boom pole, long boom pole, field mixer, headphones, eng breakaway cable, etc.... That's why I don't have a Dual G5, yet.

Oh god, my list is going to double isn't it?

Hey what type of field mixers do you suggest I look into?

Sound Devices 302 is a very nice mixer with a big price tag.

Check out the audio forums here and you'll find some very helpful and knowledgeable peeps lurking about. Be careful not to ask Oleg his opinion about the Sennheiser ME-66 microphone. ;)

Breakaway cable. I can't find my digital camera or I'd take a picture of one of mine. (15' and 50')

'Betacam' or 'ENG' or simply 'Breakaway' cable is the only way to use a mixer and a camera together. It's basically a single cable with a pair of XLR connectors and a 'headphone return' connector all wrapped into a single cable, with multipin breakaway connectors in between.

The idea is you plug the XLR's and headphone return into the camera and mixer, then you have a single connector you use to disconnect them, instead of unplugging everything and re-connecting after moving the camera for another setup. Usually, the camera-side cable is 2' long, and the mixer side is anything from 13' to 50' or even longer.

Both Remote Audio and Professional Sound Corp. make them. I have one from each company. The Remote Audio is more durable, but the PSC is more flexible. So, my shorter cable is PSC and is good for run and gun ENG shooting and the longer one is better for more established setups which require longer, unsupervised cable runs. I see value in both designs. The cables aren't compatible, even though they use the same Neutrikon multipin connectors, the bias pins are wired differently on each brand... Expect to pay around $220 for a 15' breakaway cable, or more for longer.

Use thine imagination to figure out what they look like...
