ERROR: Ordinal 45 could not be located

That's the type of error you never want to see. A resource was being looked for in the DLL and it couldn't be found.

Either the DLL got corrupted, or memory was so screwed up that something else overwrote where it was stored.

If you get the same error after a reboot, the DLL is probably hosed. Reinstall time.

(Or the render is so complicated that memory will always be corrupted... You could try rebooting again, then turn off everything not needed...even the screensaver, the network card, anything that's using even the tiniest bit of memory. Even things in Vegas not needed for rendering, like the Preview.)

Well, I have 2gb of ram and 620gb of hard drive space along with a 2.8ghz P4 with 800mhz FSB. So I don't think it's a render problem.
I uninstalled Vegas and reinstalled it, but now it's saying my software is expired.
Something is Fu:banned:up. Probably have to spend another $500 bucks to buy the damn thing again.

Before you buy it again, download the free trial from Sony's website and use your existing serial number. It should work.
